Seal Rocks is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, including pristine beaches and lush coastal forests. Just a short drive from Newcastle and about 200 kilometers from Sydney, this idyllic destination offers everything from tranquil walks along the shore to thrilling water activities. Here, you can snorkel with vibrant marine life, including the resident Logger Head Turtle, Southern Eagle Rays, and a myriad of colorful fish. Keep an eye out for playful dolphins and the occasional visiting whale as you explore the crystal-clear waters. 

Seal Rocks is also perfect for bushwalking, surfing and disconnecting from the outside world.

The cooler months are the best time for snorkelling at Seal Rocks! Usually with crystal clear waters and the opportunity to swim with Green Sea turtles and other marine species. 

 Retreat Details

 Hosted by Tegan Anne, a certified yoga and meditation instructor, personal trainer, marine biologist, and PADI-certified snorkel tour guide! This retreat promises a unique blend of relaxation, adventure, and personal growth.

Join for a four day, three-night stay at beautiful private accommodation that has stunning ocean views.

Each morning, you'll wake up to stunning sunrises and the sight of dolphins frolicking in the waves. Spend your days snorkeling crystal clear water in search for marine life, taking part in daily yoga practices and journaling sessions, a sound healing session for deep relaxation, paint and sip class where you will create your own ocean inspired artwork and exploring all that Seal Rocks has to offer!! 🩵

You will also receive a gift pack full of ocean essentials and a professional photography package! 📸 

This retreat is limited to 5 participants, this allows close friendships to be formed and for me to give you all of my attention during Yoga and in the water 💦

You will be staying at the "Shack" which is a spacious private home with a fully equipped kitchen and fireplace. The home is a few steps away from boat beach where we will be taking part in daily yoga and snorkeling sessions.

The property offers views of Seal Rocks which will leave you breathless, single and double beds, kitchen facilities, BBQ facilities, walking distance of a coffee van and lighthouse. Bath towels and linen will be provided.

Breakfast will be provided daily and dinner catered for each night by an in house private chef! All dietary requirements can be catered for! 

The views from this property make the rest of the world seem like miles away. With limited phone reception in Seal Rocks it gives you the opportunity to really switch off and reset.

Once you visit Seal Rocks you will wish you never had to leave.

Important Information

Deposit: Only a $299.00 AUD retainer is required to secure your spot, with final payment due 60 days before the retreat. Payment plans can be set up to pay off the retreat weekly, monthly or fortnightly. You will be contacted after paying the $299.00 retainer to organise a payment option that suits you.

At SaltWandering Retreats, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and plans may change. However, to secure your spot at our retreats, a non-refundable retainer is required upon booking. This retainer guarantees your reservation and covers administrative costs, making it non-refundable under any circumstances. We encourage all guests to carefully consider their plans before committing to a retreat.

If you need to cancel your participation in the retreat, we request that you notify us as soon as possible. We also recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected circumstances that may prevent you from attending the retreat.

Swimming Requirement: Participants must be competent swimmers to take part in the snorkelling activities. 🐠

 Food: Please note that only the specified food above is included, and all other food and drinks will be BYO. 🍉 Lunch is not provided in the cost of this trip. You are encouraged to bring lunches with you which can be stored in the accommodation fridge! 

 Age requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older. The only exception to this is if the participant who is younger than 18 is accompanied on the retreat by a parent (please email or message me on instagram prior if this is the case)

snorkelling gear:

wetsuits, mask, snorkel and fins are not provided. You will be required to bring these along with you. Most dive shops will allow you to hire gear if needed.

 Payment plans are available to pay off the remainder of the balance (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) with the total balance due 60 days prior to the retreat starting! 

Refunds: retainers are non refundable and no refunds will be made after 27th February 2026
