✨ A morning with the Indonesian Biru Foundation learning all about their shark conservation efforts in Lombok, visit the Shark Market in the morning and help ID the sharks that have been landed, speak with the local captains / shark fishing crew members to get context about the complex situation and build an understanding of why they do what they do to support their families. Education is the cornerstone of marine conservation because it empowers people with the knowledge and motivation to protect our oceans. By understanding how human actions affect marine ecosystems such as overfishing, individuals and communities can make informed choices that support ocean health.

How to Reserve Your Spot
A $299 retainer is all you need to retain your place on this retreat. Once your retainer is paid the spot is yours and I’ll be in touch to arrange a flexible payment plan that suits you for the rest of the amount, whether weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payments. I am more than happy to work with you and find a payment plan that suits! Note: the full balance must be paid by August 17th, 2026.
Important Information:
- Retainers are non-refundable, and no refunds will be given after May 17th, 2026.
- Flights, travel insurance, visa costs, transport to and from the retreat including airport pickup and drop off, activities outside of the retreat, scooter rental, alcohol and any meals or activities not mentioned above are NOT included in the retreat price. You must provide evidence that you have purchased travel insurance prior to arrival.

Meet Tegan Anne – Hatha Yoga Teacher and Retreat Facilitator
Tegan has been teaching Yoga since 2016, her practices focus heavily on Pranayama (Yogic breathwork) which is used to balance the body and mind. You will be flowing through daily Yoga sessions with stunning views of Lombok. These sessions will leave you calm and relaxed. Other benefits of your Yoga practices may be reduced stress, better sleep, reduced anxiety, pain relief, mental clarity and flexibility.
Tegan is also a qualified Marine Biologist and Padi snorkel tour guide. Her passion is to make women comfortable in the ocean and educate on ocean conservation.
Tegan will be with you every step of the way during your Lombok retreat.

Meet Rizzy – Your Expert Surf Instructor
Originally from South Lombok, Rizzy brings over 10 years of experience in surf coaching and an intimate knowledge of the island's best surf spots. His coaching style is both fun and easygoing, yet highly technical, ensuring that each session not only delivers an enjoyable experience but also helps you take your longboarding skills to the next level.
Rizzy works alongside a team of local instructors, maintaining a small guest-to-instructor ratio of 2:1 to provide personalized coaching on every wave. Whether you’re riding the local breaks or exploring hidden gems, Rizzy’s deep knowledge of Lombok’s swells, currents, and surf conditions ensures you get the most out of your time in the water.
Before founding his own surf company, Rizzy honed his skills as head coach at several surf camps and retreats and founded Gerupuk Board Riders. He’s a regular competitor representing Lombok in surf competitions across Indonesia and internationally, from Bali and Java to Sumbawa.
